In 1981, he signed with Arista Records, who released the album "Cool Night". Much more poppiger with a decent shot Westcoast, the album also hit the charts thanks to the two HIts "65 Love Affair" and "Cool Nights". Paul Davis died in April 2008 with 60 years.
