Fantastic atmospheric AOR. Nice touch with the piano interspersed int he songs. Gives it a definite West-Coast feel. I do hear Mike & The Mechanics in the songs and it works quite well. I highly recommend this.

Retrospect releases yet another obscure classic Melodic Rock / AOR gem, this time from Chicago band TOPAZ. Highly sought after by collector's worldwide, this essential AOR CD is now available here at a modest price everyone can afford and enjoy!! Topaz's catchy brand of hard edged pop, melodic rock, AOR and pompy styles will appeal to fans of those genres.

Northern Light
Nice album Not spectacular. Lacks the punch IMO.None the less a very good album. Nice consistency. 8/10 By the way the Boystown album ( a re-release) should be added here. What a great album that is. A mix between Blind Date and Mecca. Has 80ies quality written all over it.Excellent album. Altho the live track(last song of the album) is a miss hit. Great album tho. 9/10

A decade before hitting the charts with the early '80s AOR group Franke & the Knockouts ("Sweetheart"), soulful singer Frankie Previte was fronting the upstate NY band Bull Angus, an unjustly overlooked six-piece hard rock group that released two solid albums on Mercury Records.
