Exclusive reviews and promo records

“Dare to Dream” has it all. Excellent songs , great melodic choruses , great guitars from Mark Severn (R.I.P.), excellent vocals from Al Langlade (ex – Total Stranger) , clear and powerful production. The cd is moving in Prog Rock / Melodic Rock / Pomp Aor genre , and I could say …. The whole style reminds me, Saga Meets Loverboy and Toto (Tambu era).

Here's another band from the Canadian prairies. They only stuck around for the one album, and made a little indentation in what was a congested market at the time. Children Of ChoicesThis is fantastic!!! Except for one or so fillers, this is almost a perfect cd!! It is the perfect mix of hi tech, pop, rock, and AOR. For a bunch of 'no name' musicians, these guys SMOKE. They sound like seasoned studio veterans. Michael is such a good singer and keyboardist. More»

Davis is best remembered for Kick The Wall, a now 30-year-old cult favourite that MelodicRock are also re-promoting. However, it’s this previously shelved set from 1990 that’s getting fans in a tizzy. That quality such as Out Of Control and Get It While You Can has gathered dust for so long is outright treasonable.
