The ’80s sounding’ albums from YES are a different beasts from the band’s discography. ‘90125’ (1983) and ‘Big Generator’ (1987) are huge, bombastic. And there’s many reissues / remasters of both albums, and all sound different.

The debut album of the MIKE DELLA BELLA PROJECT received a very nice welcome and rave reviews by the WestCoast and AOR audience in 2019. If you like your AOR with a bit of balls and like Survivor, Refugee, Franke & The Knockouts and a hint of Toto here and there, then this will be right up your street. Opening cut 'She's Got A Way' straight away reminds me of Survivor, especially with the Jimi Jamison style vocals (which are excellent throughout this disc) and is an excellent opener. 'Chyna' carries on the Survivor style AOR and is another excellent tune. More»
