Wow really an Ultrarare album and is a Very Good AOR / Hard Rock album, perhaps the most rare records that there is truth have a copy not as good quality but is heard what it's worth, Laurence is a great guitarist that it is his virtue and was previously in Stampede and then with UFO and Grand Slam, now in this his only plate solo is more oriented AOR Hard Rock and his voice reminds me that raspy voice of Eddie Money I love that kind of voice...

Susie Hatton – Body and Soul (1991)
Jun 4, 2018 21:42
Melodic Rock | AOR
This was the only album by Susie and for a very brief period enjoyed some success with a video and a tour with Bret Michaels (Poison) and his solo band but then grunge hit and Susie got swept aside and never released anything else. This is a good album if you give it a chance she has a lovely voice which suit the soft rock (AOR) songs including a fun version of the Stones classic Brown Sugar. So if you want an easy listening enjoyable album with a female singer in the same vain as Heart, Pat Benatar or Lita Ford but a lite version then take a chance and grab this.

Fronted by pre Mpire, and current Talon vocalist Michael O'mara, VFX were a fantastic band with the ability to mix different styles, ranging from Aor right through to Pomp and hard rock... with ease.Their s/t mini/cd is my particular favourite, with its BLVD like, expansive Aor sound.

Risen from the ashes of a funk band (called Kiwi!), Swedish AORsters Fatal Attraction got signed by High Rock Records at the end of 1995 and released their first album, “End Of Regulation Time”, in September 1996. Although this album put them on the Swedish AOR map, nothing was heard from them anymore, until the 4-track EP “Unknown World” was released (again by High Rock Records) in 2001. More»
