Union Mac plays hard-hitting, but still very melodic, rock with some very infectious hooks and anthemic choruses. This isn't wimpy, Street Talk AOR (not that there's anything wrong with that), but rather somewhat heavier melodic rock along the lines of Sunstorm, Jorn, Free Spirit (there's a band everyone should check out), and Hardline.

As to why Fleischman got the door no one is really sure other than management issues. Be that as it may you can check Fleischman out on You Tube singing a few classic Journey tunes that he penned for the 'Infinity' album. While this album isn't spectacular it's great melodic AOR listening.

Rock Candy specialists have 'Remastered & Reloaded' TOTO's most celebrated '80s albums few weeks ago. One of my favorites from the band is the absolutely mid-80s sounding "Fahrenheit", which also marked the debut of Joseph Williams on lead vocals.
