Often coming across as a poor man's George Michael, Joe Pasquale took a stab at the pop/rock/Top 40 market with his debut album, Prey. Pasquale is a competent singer. His voice isn't the problem. The problem is the forgettable nature of the songs. Most of Pasquale's slick, glossy, heavily produced material is mediocre and routine. The singer/composer/producer might have been going for a Michael-type appeal, but unlike Michael, he didn't have the first-class songs to back himself up. More»
