Rare!3-D was a short-lived American rock band of the early 1980s, best known for the hit singles All Night Television,Telephone Number, and the New Wave classic X-ray eyes.
They toured with such groups as The Ramones, The Cars, Eddie Money, Poco, and U2. Keyboardist Teddy Wender and Vocalist Ric Zivic have a music production business currently in Manhattan where they produce music for TV and commercials. U2 opened for 3-D at the Ritz in April 1980; they also appeared on SNL that same month.[1][2] They opened for the J.Geils Band on the Love Stinks tour circa 1980. Ric and Ted also produced the music for The Learning Channel's children's show Bingo and Molly and the current popular show Overhaulin.
As a keyboardist, Ted has recorded and performed with Michael Powers, Albert King, Wilson Pickett, Ben E King, Dr. John, Johnny Winter, Ric Derringer, Gordon Waller {Peter&Gordon}, Paul Jones, Odetta, Bill Chinook, Ray Draper, Gary Stewart, and Loudon Wainwright III (Ted played piano on Dead Skunk). Ted also composed two dance hits for the Doobie Brothers and the Memphis Horns. Teddy first started recording with the underground classic country rock band, White Cloud, which members included country fiddler legend Kenny Kosek and (dueling banjos) Eric Weissberg.

Ignitor is a traditional US metal band fronted by the legendary Jason McMaster and has Stuart “Batlord” Laurence from Agony Column as its main songwriter and guitarist. They’ve been around since 2003 and Jason’s been with them since about 2008 and recorded their Spider Queen album.

Just recently they’ve released Year of the Metal Tiger (YOTMT). I like this album far better than Spider Queen which was a little too dramatic for my tastes, even though the music fit the storyline perfectly. YOTMT is heavy, the way it should be. Other than the track We Are Ignitor, I think the album is quite enjoyable, especially the tracks Shadow of the Needle, The Kaiser and Island of the Damned.

McMaster is using a lot of his mid-range vocal style and it sounds great, really makes the album for me.

KEE MARCELLO is one of those artists who is able to turn his hand to anything without fear.
He started his career in 1982 with the glam rock band Easy Action recording two albums. In '86 he joined Europe and toured the World three times. His name as a renowned guitarist was established and the time was ripe for the release of an instructional video. One year later came the bluesy-rock project Red Fun.

Then was time for his solo debut album, 1995's “Shine On”. As said, he has played many genres without fear, and in this first effort as solo artist, Kee goes Melodic Rock.
This recording sees Marcello in a more intimate way, delivering a good bunch of tunes with a much mellower approach than in his previous bands. Not in vain the original release cover of this album pictures him sporting a big acoustic guitar.
Now, Kee is releasing a remastered and repackaged version of this CD as "Redux : Shine On", including three bonuses.

Back in the day I liked this album alot, and I like it now.
Includes some truly good laid back Melodic Rock songs, beautifully crafted around organic melodies. Marcello's vocal timbre fits this style nicely, it's warm and affectionate.
We have some rockers too with Kee showing his six-string abilities, not in a flashing way but with a classic style and sound.
The three bonus tracks are outtakes from the "Shine On"s recording sessions, not with the quality standards of the main album tracks, but all are a nice addition to your collection.
