Swedish "alternative metal" band MACHINAE SUPREMACY will release its new album, "Rise Of A Digital Nation", on October 19 via Spinefarm Records. According to a press release, the CD "echoes the musical simplicity of [2008's] 'Overworld' and faithfully reflects the issues and state of a Generation Online in its lyrics." The album was recorded inMACHINAE SUPREMACY's own studio in Luleå, Sweden, with additional recording at the 4Sound Studio in Stockholm. It was mastered byHenkka Niemistö at Chartmakers in Finland. Brazilian drummer Heleno Vale returns with the third part of his Soulspell metal opera, Hollow's Gathering. For details about the concept, I'll send you once again to the Soulspell website. Be warned, however, as of this writing, it has not been updated to include details of this part of the story. What remains the same is Vale's musical approach, melodic heavy and power metal, and the involvement of a great many players. These include Tim “Ripper” Owens [ex. Judas Priest, Iced Earth], Blaze Bailey [ex. Iron Maiden], Michael Vescera [ex. Loudness, Yngwie Malmsteen], Markus Grosskopf [Helloween], Amanda Sommerville [Avantasia], Matt Smith [Theocracy] among others.
German Pascual, a relatively new presence on the Swedish metal scene, unveils his first solo album A New Beginning. Pascual was the last vocalist for Narnia on their last album Course of a Generation, and recently has shared vocal duties with former Narnia vocalist Christian Liljegren on his Divinefire project. For his solo project, he has enlisted some talented fellows to assist him including guitarist Carl-Johan "CJ" Grimmark (Narnia, Fires Of Babylon, Rob Rock, FullForce) and bassists Per Schelander (Pain of Salvation, Royal Hunt) and Raphael Dafras (Almah, Seven Horizons).

We chose this song because we think it’s a really good song and instead of making a grenade go off on stage, we figured we’d make a bomb of astonishment go off in the studio.
