Incursed was formed in October 2007. The first EP, Time to unsheathe our rusty swords, was released in 2009. In 2010 they released their first LP, called Morituri. A year later Incursed changed its lineup. In November, 2012, they released their first studio album called Fimbulwinter, which has received great reviews all around the world.
