Catchy sleazy rockers are what the band came up with on their full-length debut album Play The Game back in 2015 and it’s more of the same on Heaven Metal – Hard Rock. After reviewing Skid‘s review of Silent Jack‘s debut EP Snakebite back in 2013, I have to agree with him that the group does sound quite a bit like Junkyard with Silent Jack lead vocalist Rich ‘Stitch’ Mason sounding a lot like a younger David Roach.

Fate is a Danish heavy metal band originally formed in 1984. They released four albums between 1984-1990 before disbanding in 1993. However after a one-off reunion at a German music festival in 2004, Fate was reformed and released a new album, V, in 2006. hat an exceptionally good album this is!So many different rhythms,so many bass textures and a large dose of ESP thrown into the mix...there are many instances where both play as one...an embarrassment of riches and never predictable: I suspect I will play this often.

I'm not really a band...more of a solo artist. However, I do like to play in a band setting. The problem with bands is that they come and go. I finally got to the point where it became logical for me to record my own original music, sing, and play the guitar and keyboard parts myself.

According to Darker Than Blue, Deep Purple will be releasing “Johnny’s Band” from their new album, inFinite, as an audio CD EP in early August. Says Darker Than Blue: “It’s just the album version (a video has been out for some time) but to tempt collectors comes with a rehearsal jam and three live tracks (two oldies) listed as unreleased, but I’m not sure where from or when. The cover looks like an old cast-off Gillan band offering!”
