Macclesfield's PET HATE featured three ex Silverwing members Dave Roberts, Steve Roberts and Alistair Terry. After debuting "The Bride Wore Red" in 1984, renowned producer Eddie Leonetti was persuaded to produce the follow up "Bad Publicity". Leonetti Had produced the ANGEL album of the same name in the late 70's but before it was released the artwork was rejected as being to contoversial by the record company and the title was changed to "Sinful".

I love the rock from the eighties, with all the harmonies and arrangements.This is a top album which draws resemblence to bands like Harem Scarem, Giant and Europe. It has a blend of strings, rock edge guitars and high pitched vocals. The material is very good and deserves to get recognition. My favourite songs are Why Cry (best song on the album), What She Wants, and Corridor Of Windows.
