FrontI told you earlier this year about an incredible rock band from New York, Nasty Habit that has a rock and roll passion that is non stop. They have a high energy ’80s style rock sound that you will grab you when you first listen to their songs like Heart Breakin, Hip Shakin, Saturday Night, and Tripped. Nasty Habit has Tommy Ende on lead vocals, Kenny Ende on guitar, David Jordan on drums, and Frankie Wheeler on bass.

Chris-Holmes-photo-300x300Before I give out what will be one negative album review, I want to make a point that Chris Holmes has played guitar on some of my favorite albums of all-time. W.A.S.P.‘s self-titled debut album, The Last Command and The Headless Children are simply absolutely brilliant albums that I still really enjoy more than 25 to 30 years later. W.A.S.P.‘s Inside The Electric Circus is in my eyes a very underrated album and contains some amazing tracks.

Vulcain - V8

What jumps first in ears, it is production, they feel making a bound behind about 30 years. It sounds very craft and homemade 100 %. The nostalgic of the underground bored by big productions will indeed find their count there; others as I will find that it reinforces the tag too much hard franchouillard rock. Musically, Red admiral makes what it always made, that is to say of compos who scoops out their influence from a mix between AC / DC and Motörhead, More»

Some albums are just easy to review. You hear a few notes and you just know that you are going to like what you are going to hear next. You wait to hear the lead singer’s vocals because that’s always a make or break moment for a song and assuming you like the singing, the only question left is whether the band can sustain what first drew you in all the way to the end.
