NOW!VERY NO BAD WITH Roland Grapow...
Lasted for years than you guys "off the street" anyone noticing. They said Absolut and after dozens of unsuccessful attempts to break through their music everywhere only listen to it finally gave up. But they did not give up and prove that the stories discovered unknown bands take place in Slovakia.
Suffice last (and only correct) meeting with producer Marcela pass that believed not only their music, but the band also opened up a whole new dimension - they met with one of the best guitarists Slovak Henry Tóth. The singer Martina "Benca" Haspr it was a dream come true: "I do not know what more I could ask for than that, we're on our debut were surrounded by such great musicians. Worth the wait and toil. Absolut because there is no superficial story . been years of hard work and rock'n'roll. "
San Francisco based Doom Rockers, ORCHID, have announced to release an EP featuring 3 brand new tracks + 1 song from the latest full-length album, Capricorn, on September 7, 2012.
The EP, entitled Heretic, marks the first release for Nuclear Blast and will be released both digitally as well as on 10? vinyl.
Commented guitarist Mark Baker: “Late in 2010, after we submitted the „Capricorn“ full length to our label and waited for the release, we realized that there wouldn’t be any extensive touring, so we just kept writing and rehearsing new material. A few months later, we were back in the studio cutting basics for new songs. By the time we finished the business of changing labels, we had way more than one album worth of new songs. We, along with Nuclear Blast, decided it would be a great idea to release a few of those on an EP this year while we wrap up everything for our next full length. We’re really excited for people worldwide to get a chance to check out what we’ve been up to in the last year. These new songs have the classic, anthemic ORCHID sound that people expect from us, along with a few elements that we’ve never shown before.”

DreamQuest is a heavy metal band. Created in 1998, by two guitarists Joackim and Nicolas quickly joined by St?phane with the keyboards, the band knew tumultuous beginnings. It is only in 2001 that it started to be stabilized although it underwent from several changes of line-up in August 2004. In 2001, the group gives some concerts and then records the first d?mo entitled 'Falling Life' in February 2002. In July 2002, after having given some concerts, the drummer leaves the band, DreamQuest will remain in stand by during nearly one year. In September 2003, with the arrival of David (ex Total Death), the band takes again the repetitions and launches out on the composition of new songs. But in July 2004, the collaboration with one of the guitarists is stopped. This time, the band does not want a substitute for the vacancy. Therefore, the remaining members rearrange the songs to be played with only one guitar and also go back to the composition. Since December 2004, DreamQuest records the second d?mo which will be born in 2006.

Now!My Love...
Rock singer Cecilia Gholamy released her first single "Loco Amor" by the company Dusty Road Records in september. On the new single, she has worked with, among others, guitarist / producer Oz Osukaru. Later this year expected a debut album to be released. Though I've had listening experience with France's Spheric Universe Experience and their 2009 release Unreal, I passed it off to my son to review. However, I'm not entirely sure why. Perhaps, it's because, as he said, the variation between songs was suspect.
I'm not sure I would draw the same conclusion with this year's The New Eve. This is definitely a progressive metal album, notable on the first three songs at the start, and elsewhere. Yet listening to Never Heal and The Day I Died, I think I hear some modern alternative rock undercurrents. If anything has a modern metal feel it's Self Abuse with a touch of growling vocals. But that could simply be me searching hard for the dissimilarity between arrangements. If you're not careful, the riffage will run together, which is the exact thing that tripped up my son three years ago.

NOW!Great...
In the debut EP Scotty Dunbar'a, "In A Mellow Mood", as special guests included the following musicians: Michael Sweet of STRYPER (solo in "Memories Never Fade"), Louis St. August of MASS (duet "Pillar Of Strength"), AMJ (duet "Tears In The City" and "Something So Wrong"), Jeremy Heussi of MASS and FORTUNE (all the piano, keyboards and orchestrations), Jonathan Roketenetz (acoustic guitar ). Exit EP took on the label Down Boys Records, owned by Jerry Dixon and Erik Turner from WARRANT.
Growing up in and around the West Coast music scene in the 80s and 90s, it’s in my blood to think that the second wave of heavy rock bands naturally comes from the Left Coast. Bands like Van Halen, Megadeth, and, of course, Metallica. Then I heard New-York-based Urbansnake. Until Urbansnake, there was nobody out there, that I had come across, that could throw down a challenge to cornerstone bands like these and walk away intact.
Urbansnake is honest, in your face, balls to the wall, no bullshit rock. The first time I played “Postal” on Sirius Satellite and my companion online show, UC Radio, listener reaction was overwhelming. I had to give in and admit that there was a challenger to the West Coast Metal sound, and that this beast from the East was not only doing it right, but that they were doing it right on every song. NOW!Day of Color...
Enemynside is an Italian band that now releases their fourth album and generally they were categorized in thrash metal. I think they play more of a metal rock version with somewhat raw vocals and just good songs with some unexpected twists and turns. In ‘Snot’ for example they suddenly use keyboards and that gives the song a more contemporary feel. Unfortunately sometimes they try too hard to find a melody, especially the vocal melodies are a bit difficult. Musically however it is all great and the songs have all been written well. ’Rise Up’ is a nice song with a different rhythmic feel and a fitting vocal melody. And ‘Too Many Times’ has a guest appearance by guitarist Richie Kotzen. Certainly a band that deserves a chance.
