*Catawompus was formed in Muncie, IN. in January 1994 by Douglas Gery.*Band spent 1994 - 1996 playing the circuit in Indiana as well as Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio, & Illinois.*Relocated to Nashville, TN. in January 1997.
*Known for their dual-twin lead guitar sound.

*Receiving airplay on Indiana, Ohio & Tennessee radio stations.
*Won numerous Battle of the Band Competitions including Ernie Ball Strings Tennessee Competition.
*Musical endorsement deals with SIT strings, VHT Amplifiers, Gibson Guitars, & Fred Kelly Guitar Picks.
*Performed in TicketMaster showcase in Bloomington, IN.
*Recorded 1995 demo at Atlanta's Tree Studios with Rodney Mills who has also worked with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pearl Jam, Sheryl Crow, .38 Special & many others.
*Recorded 1998 demo with the help of producer Fred Coury & Tom Keifer (of Cinderella fame) at Project One Studio in Hendersonville, TN.
*Recorded 1999 CD "Well, It's About Time" at Charlie Daniels Twin Pines Studio in Lebenon, TN.*
