In late 2011, after more than three years with their record label, Atlantic Records, Camera Can't Lie decided it was time to part ways. In that transition the band was fortunate enough to leave with their unreleased full length album, which is no small feat. After a long search, they realized the best way to find this this album a home was to release it independently. That idea led to PledgeMusic. After a successful two month PledgeMusic campaign, where fans could pre-order the new album, Camera hit their goal and were able to finalize "The Album". This record is a combination of the last five years as a band. The songs, lyrics, and even the artwork represent the journey taken in their lives and careers so far. The record was produced by Multi-Platinum and Grammy Nominated producer, Ron Aniello (Bruce Springsteen, Lifehouse) and mixed by Mark Endert (Maroon 5, The Fray, Train).
