Platinum Canadian singer-songwriter BRYAN ADAMS is releasing “Classic“, a 2-CD pack featuring re-recordings of his classic songs containing new studio takes of songs from the 1980s and 1990s, including “Summer of ’69”, “Heaven”, “Run to You”, and “Please Forgive Me”.
While a few of these re-recordings were released some time ago, now the musician is releasing a 21-track CD or 2xLP with more ‘classic versions’ as well as several of Adams’ recent singles such a sthe rocking ‘Roll With The Punches’.
This 2-CD release also includes a new version of his duet with Tina Turner, featuring a previously unreleased version of Tina’s vocal (just recently released for Record Store Day in April 2025, on a limited edition 7”). Originally released only on vinyl in 2023, this compilation features freshly re-mastered / re-mixed versions of these recordings especially for this CD package. The CD version also includes the first single to be released from Bryan Adams’ soon to be released album “Roll With The Punches”.
Put out via his own record label Bad Records this release contains 21 songs across 2 CDs packaged in a 6 panel digipak gatefold sleeve, with a bellyband and shrink wrap.
Many of these new versions are terrific, and while we are all in love with the originals, most of these new takes, re-mixes are very good.
