The debut album BLANCAWHITE "Resurgence Of Rock" is a rallying cry for the revival ofrock 'n' roll, because it contains the original, straight, made in the classic vein of hard rock, recorded by modern standards. The unique combination of playing 70's and 80's inconjunction with the lyrics and themes of the modern world, no doubt will appeal to all fans of classic rock ...
Billed as a "Hard Rock grass roots revolution", BlancaWhite is the brainchild of Ken Savage and brothers Austin and Rick Schell. Their idea of combining different artists to create a Classic Rock album, featuring the talents of vocalists Paul Shortino (QUIET RIOT,ROUGH CUTT and KING KOBRA), Terry Ilous (XYZ and GREAT WHITE), Lorraine Lewis (FEMME FATALE) and Jeff Paris, goes for that 70's & 80's Classic Rock sound with elements of a modern approach. This project hides nothing, as it’s obvious the influences here are from AC/DC to Sammy Hagar. They key word here is “fun”, as some of the songs feature that recurrent theme. The only letdown is the wacky production, cause especially the drum sound is just decent.
