Switzerland roll for the free soul. It is a beautiful motto for the three Swiss musicians of Basement Saints. Tobias Arn (guitar, mandolin, harmonica and vocals). Anton Delen (guitar and vocals) and Samuel Jaussi (percussionist) make music that comes from a cellar to the listener. A somewhat gritty, decrepit, smelling cellar under a big cathedral and next to an oil smelly garage. The ideal place for the trio from Grenchen, Switzerland.
In February 2014, the musicians step into the studio and arrive the same day with EP Free Souls. In 2016 enough money was earned with the endless touring. Debut album Get Ready is recorded live in the studio and released on April 1st. The difference between the two releases is not great. The group has more experience and plays a bit more varied. The music of Basement Saints is still vigorous rock 'n' roll.
