There seems to be a lot of debate as to which is Cold Chisel's best album, East or Circus Animals. It's a tough call as both are great and it comes down to personal preference. I'd slightly favour Circus Animals as it has what is probably my favourite Cold Chisel song, 'Bow River', where Ian Moss takes the lead vocals and whilst Jimmy Barnes lends support, Moss shines and lets his guitar rip too. Moss is a brilliant guitarist but on East he seemed a bit restrained. Here though, he lets loose several times and the album is better for it. He also adds some sublime touches on the albums big hits 'Forever Now' and 'When the War is Over'. Some big names have tried to cover the latter but just can not come close. It's surely one of Chisel's most beautiful and finest songs.

The third solo album by former Cold Chisel frontman Jimmy Barnes, 1987's Freight Train Heart saw the fiery Scottish-Australian belter very much repeating the formula of 1985’s For the Working Class Man, only this time, with significantly more polish. Like his previous effort, Barnes was backed by some of the very best musicians of the US' AOR scene, Freight Train Heart contains contributions by various members of Journey, Rainbow, REO Speedwagon & Giuffria.

Jimmy Barnes has been there and back. He's tasted glory as the most successful Australian rock & roll singer. He's also struggled with the pressures of being a tall poppy and he's wrestled his own demons. It's been a wild ride.As lead singer for Cold Chisel, he fronted Australia's (arguably) most successful rock band. Within a month of Cold Chisel ...

Before this album, Mossy's big album was Matchbook, his first solo album after Chisel. But his follow-up offering, World's Away, seemingly saw him go slightly off the boil. After taking a rather long hiatus he came back strongly with his third solo album, this quite aptly titled offering of high-octane, growling guitar rock-n-blues.

Liberation Records is proud to announce the arrival of Australian guitar giant Ian Moss as part of our growing Liberation Blue family. The velvet smooth vocals and stunning instrumental skills of the former Cold Chisel mainstay were the stuff of much conversation after that band's sold-out reunion shows of last year. Now the multi-platinum solo artist has recorded a new album, featuring rearranged classics and highly anticipated new songs, recorded live and solo during a Wednesday night residency at Sydney's Sandringham Hotel in Newtown this past August.

This is a must have for any 80's rocker still clinging to the past, i.e. ME!!!!! Still love the 80s classics. But this band here along with Barren Cross and White Cross changed my musical interest forever. Stryper was good but somewhat chezzy at times. They where a one album wonder, didn't care for Rock The Flock. This album rocks from start to finish...

The 9 songs are a musical evolution of intense and a powerful mix of heavy and prog metal, which melt in aggressive chapters, and have atmospheric plots with a strong dose of melodies. The sound is clean and was directly added to the Viterbo Musica Studios by Simone Angelini & Silvio Gentili (including known by live sound work with YES, ASIA, and more.), Produced the album Arsea itself. The well thought out songs (despite the proggigen excursions) melodic catchy ...
