This album pretty much came out of nowhere, and oh what a surprise! It’s keyboard-driven melodic rock with crunchy guitars and powerful choruses. Take the keyboard leads from Europe’s Final Countdown and combine them with strong German hard rock like Fair Warning or Bonfire, and that will give you a taste of what the band sounds like. Interestingly enough, it’s not on one of the usual European AOR/hard rock labels.
Proto-metal rockers Vanilla Fudge have announced the release of a new album that returns them to the music of their heyday. Titled Spirit of ’67, the album–featuring three of the four original members and produced by vocalist/keyboardist Mark Stein and drummer Carmine Appice–contains ten covers of popular songs from 1967 as well as one original song by Stein.
Brilliant melodic rock with a metal edge, from Norway. Just listen to the incredible melody during "crusader now..", "Heart of the sun" Excellent guitar work. Imagine Ten, Lost Horizon,Asia and Hellowen in the same record. A mixture of power-metal and great melodic sounds, “Heaven’s Gate” is a breath of fresh air as KELDIAN climbs the mountain to reach the peak of success. A big surprise !
Now that's what I call Hard Rock!!! Screaming guitars, thundering drums and harsh vocals!!! Who would belive that this remarkable album would come from Bailey Brothers, the hosts of MTV's metal show, Headbanger's Ball? (Back then Headbanger's Ball had something to do with metal, afterwards it lost every connection.) Judgement Day starts with the self-titled track, that gets you back in the late 80's early 90's.

The band was formed in Verona early 1997, by the singer Roberto Mancini and the guitarist Stefano Pisani (Spitfire, Exile, X-Hero), the bass player Gabriele “Ago” Agostinelli and the youngest Yari Borin at drums added later. “Cemento Armato” contains 11 songs in vein of classic Hard Rock with sung in italian, will be available worldwide on February 25, 2015 through Andromeda Relix for the CD format and Nerocromo that distribuite on digital market. Al song are co-produced with Fabio Serra and mastered by Black Dog Studio, Tampa, (Florida USA) with special guest on vocals Giacomo Gigantelli from cult metal heroes Spitfire.
2008 release, the latest installment in Liberation's excellent Blue Acoustic series. On Lemon Tree, Australian legend Daryl Braithwaite revisits his Sherbet and solo hits on this acoustic album. Features 'Rise', 'The Horses', 'As The Days Go By', 'Howzat', 'One Summer' and many more. These old classics have never sounded so exciting and so fresh. The Lemon Tree will be one of the most successful of the range, which now numbers 40 odd titles, and has been a landmark exercise in reinvigorating the careers of dozens of Australian artists. Liberation.
It would be hard to find a voice that captures the mood of a song more perfectly than this one. It’s the voice that soars with inspiration, soul and warmth. The voice of course belongs to Australian singer Daryl Braithwaite. In a distinguished career spanning more than 30 years, Daryl Braithwaite is one of Australia’s award winning premier performers. His initial success as a singer came with Sherbet, a band which forever remains in the history books of Australian music.
