Warren Cromartie was a baseball player for Montreal Expos in the late 70´s/early 80´s, but he also made a record with his band Climb in 1988 that was only released in Japan.
I had never heard about this record until now when I found it on an AOR website, it was the line up of guests and the cover of I-Ten´s "Lonely in eachother´s arms" that got me interested in hearing it.
One of the guests is keyboardist David Rosenthal, Warren was a fan of Rainbow back then and invited David Rosenthal to play on "Take a chance".
Another guest is Geddy Lee of Rush, they became friends in the early 80´s and Geddy said yes on singing a line on the song "Who´s missing who" which is a nice westcoast/AOR song.

JETBOY – Off Your Rocker! (2010) EP

Glam|Sleaze|Hair Hard Rock
The spiked hair has return... only dyed a different color now! When Jetboy first debuted on a major scale back in 1988, with vocalist Mickey Finn's image making the band stand out from their hair-sprayed cohorts, my biggest complaint with them was over-production. At the time it seemed like the person twisting the knobs in the production room was sucking the life right out of the music. Now that Jetboy is now longer being controlled by a major label they can do things their own way, and give their songs the punch they always deserved.
Metal Shop – Hole Patrol 2003
Nov 25, 2014 01:00
Glam|Sleaze|Hair Hard Rock
Hole Patrol is the debut album by American glam metal band Steel Panther. The album was first released in 2003 under the band name Metal Shop then subsequently reissued in 2005 under the band name Metal Skool, upon which the final track was replaced. The original version closes with a self-referential eponymous 'theme' song for the band but due to the change in band name the track was replaced by a cover of Ian Hunter's 'Cleveland Rocks' thematically retitled 'Cleveland Roxx'. Three of the tracks are spoken-word comedy skits that act as song introductions. The cover of the album shows clear resemblance to the cover of Look What the Cat Dragged In by Poison.

House Of Shakira are a Swedish rock formation that started out in Stockholm around 1991. The band's motto is "Try every idea with an open mind", therefore every member of the band contributes with own ideas to make this music unique. House Of Shakira consists of five very different personalities that only have one thing that ties them together – to write and perform good songs. A good song is the key to make this band function, style or sound doesn’t matter as long as the song is good.

No Bros – Cavalry Of Evil (1986)
Nov 11, 2014 22:19
Hard Rock
In the new Line-Up the fourth LP was played in by NO BROS. Beside Klaus Schubert and Nik P. Opperer acted the Scottish singer Joe Francis Hamilton, Andy Cutic in the bass as well as the temporary help drummers Wolf Poss, Harry Gschoesser and Alex Mikulicz in the percussion (and not Ali Schmidl noted on the LP and Gernot Ursin). On the album the hardness screw was drawn a little bit, so that the fans missed the charm of the original BROS sound NO. It is a pity, to the songs like "lady Of The Tower", "Kill The Lion", "Thus hard To lake" or the title track are all very strong pieces which are arranged very well and count to the ripe Estonians of her career.
