One of Stephen Pearcy's best discs yet. All tracks bring it to you hard including the two new bonus tracks Dizzy & Le Roach. The song Dizzy has a sound that can't be matched by any other artist except Pearcy. All tracks on this disc rock. Stephen Pearcy had his own style rock/metal with his former band RATT, now he has new, harder, and more progessive sound of metal with Vicious Delite. This disc is one of my favorites.
Lucy Four – Burn in Paradise (2018)

Hard Rock

The musicians of Lucy Four have been sweating for thirty years on the boards that signify the underworld. They do not like to force themselves into meaningless drawers. Lucy Four make rock music in the best 70's tradition, which is therefore not "retro". More»

Dirty Bombshell – Dirty Bombshell 2016
Dec 27, 2018 22:14
Hard Rock

Suckers for the rush of playing rock for a live audience, the members of Dirty Bombshell came together in 2013 for a one-show reunion of their high school 1980's hair-metal cover band. At one rehearsal, between Poison and Mötley Crüe songs, a riff jam dropped into their laps their song Slut Queen ("the best AC/DC song since Thunderstruck") and opened up a songwriting spigot.

Their sound has been compared to Europe, Dokken, Scorpions, Winger, Paul McCartney(in his prime), and Robby Valentine. Lead by Legion and D'Ercole front man Phil Vincent, TRAGIK explores the boundaries those other bands don't tread.

Powderfinger – Vulture Street (2003)

Hard Rock

I readily admit that this review is more than 10 years late. I first 'discovered' Powderfinger aboard a Contiki tour in Australia in early 2005 when our travel guide insisted that our three week bus tour needed a theme song and he unilaterally chose the band's top 10 Australian hit song "(Baby I've Got You) On My Mind".
