Fear Not – Fear Not (1993)
Oct 19, 2020 23:10
Hard Rock
This 1993 self-titled album was the only release from Christian melodic rockers Fear Not. The band, who was lucky enough to score a production job by the Elefante brothers, had a melodic rock sound that was somewhere between Mr. Big and early Skid Row, sort of like a harder rocking Guardian.

Great instrumental album. Mix of Satriani and Lynch. David Reece (Accept/Bangalore choir/Sircle of silence/Stream) does a great job on two track 3 & 6. Worth getting if you're into instrumental albums.
Ian Danter – Prove You Wrong (2013)
Oct 17, 2020 14:58
Hard Rock
When it comes to radio shows such as “Football First” on TalkSport, their audience is usually limited by national borders. Not so with hard rock that Ian Danter, one of the station’s hosts, knows and loves enough to come up with this album. Strange for someone who does voiceover work, Danter sings only three of the fifteen original cuts here, leaving the job for SHY’s Lee Small, but plays most of the instruments here, and does it good.

First Strike – Only For You (2005)
Oct 10, 2020 20:11
Hard Rock
Good hard rock on this 6 track cd by First Strike. The opening track of Hang Tough is great with a great guitar solo as does Only For You. Rock This House is another very good 80's party rocker. The singer makes this cd even better. Very similar to Ratt, White Lion, Kix, Firehouse and Dokken. Well worth adding to your collection.
