Scarlet: The Old Waldorf was recorded in August 1979. The band were trying out material that they would record a few months later at the Automatt sessions with Sandy Pearlman for their official second album, Shakin’ Street. They were opening for the Jim Carroll Band and the show was captured by KALX radio deejay and producer Terry Hammer. The lineup of Shakin’ Street that recorded this live album was Fabienne Shine with Ross "The Boss" Friedman on lead guitar, Eric Lévi on rhythm guitar, Mick Winter on bass and Jean-Lou Kalinowsky on drums. Gerry Beckley, the illustrious singer, songwriter, performer and co-founder of legendary band, America, released his TENTH solo album, titled simply Gerry Beckley, on June 28, 2024. Working with longtime producer and collaborator, Jeff Larson, Beckley explains "Jeff and I found it on a hard drive, and I thought, 'That's pretty good. Gimme some time,'" remembers Beckley, who maintains studios in his two residences of Venice, CA and Sydney, Australia. Released by Japanese Bootleg specialists Bondage Music: Deutschland Tournee 1982 is a soundboard recording (except 4 tracks) of the concert captured at Stadthalle, Freiburg, Germany 18th November, 1982. The American rock band Winger formed in 1987 and they released their third studio album Pull in 1993. Their music changed from the glam metal to a more aggressive and darker musical style. Limited Warranty was one of the many groups that exploded out of the 1980's Minneapolis music scene. Formed in 1982 Hawk was a glam Metal band that really made some noise in the sunset strip. A well known guitarist by the name of Doug Marks was part of this great band and the only member to be part of in every lineup of the band after few changes. Dave Clark wrote a science fiction stage musical, Time, which debuted in 1986. It played for two years in London's West End, starring Cliff Richard (replaced later by David Cassidy). The musical also launched a concept album called Time The Album which featured Cliff Richard, Freddie Mercury, Leo Sayer, Stevie Wonder and Dionne Warwick.
