John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band is an American rock band from Rhode Island. The band was formed as simply "Beaver Brown" (named after a paint can) in 1972 and were one of the major acts in developing the heartland rock genre along contemporaries like Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and Bob Seger.
