Well, Lordi are back! (not exactly back but ok, at least they released something new after their 2010 album "Babez For Breakfast". The band has been through way too many changes since BFB release, drummer Kita left, his replacement Otus died this year and almost 2 months ago keyboardist Awa left as well..
"Bend Over And Pray The Lord" is an old demo, recorded back in 1996 with members only Mr. Lordi on vocals, Amen on guitars, Enary on keyboards and G-Stealer on bass..so let's see what "Bend Over And Pray The Lord" is..

These days you're never to old to rock and roll. Aerosmith is still touring with Steven Tyler a year a way from Social Security, and the Stones are talking about it again, too. Hardly youngsters any more, England's Magnum returns with eighteenth studio album, On the Thirteenth Day.

This album is representative Magnum: nice melodic rock, sometimes edgy and heavy, sometimes with nods to progressive rock. That's not a bad thing at all. Familiarity should not breed contempt, as long time fans will certainly dig this album.

I've always found Magnum more interesting when they mix a heavier side to more provocative arrangements as on Dance of the Black Tattoo or Broken Promises. Yet, the band can also offer the hooks and accessibility of simple catchy rock with So Let It Rain and the amusing Didn't Like You Anyway. Magnum is not without some symphonic melancholy as well on Putting Things in Place.

NOW!YES YES...

French metal band Venturia returns with their third album, Dawn of a New Era, which could refer to their becoming a four piece act. Vocalist Marc Ferreira has been gone since 2009, with founder and guitarist Charly Sahona taking over to compliment Lydie Lazulli's leads.

Musically, however, this album could have been called Hybrid II, though it has a more commercial melodic metal feel than progressive metal. Venturia continues to pump in the sequences and synths, familiar to the previous work. Secret Dream, A New Dawn Rising, What We're Here For, and What If are all examples of Venturia mixing metal with a groove equally suitable for a European rave session or a heavy metal arena.

Joshua Munday is an Australian guitar player who has been part of various recording sessions and endorsed by guitar gear companies Roland or Boss, Joshua has demonstrated guitar products to thousands of people in the past few years and co-headlined many festivals including the Sydney Guitar Show.
"Days Where I Began" is his debut album, under the JOSHUA moniker.

Joshua is not only a dexterous guitar player, he's also a good songwriter and a well trained vocalist. If I had to choose a reference to his music, instantly Richie Kotzen comes to mind.
"Days Where I Began" rocks across twelve immediate tracks under the 4-minute mark, mixing bluesy hard rock tunes with some commercial heavy-funk overtones.
Joshua's support band is tight & dynamic, special mention to drummer Nick Pansini who provides an excellent rhythm and great fills, giving to Joshoa a strong foundation for his sharp riffs and interesting solos.

NOW!BEAUTIFUL SWEDEN AS...

As we told you on facebook, not all these songs will end up on the album. In Charlie’s opinion, the best albums contains 10 songs. But it is really hard to kill any of these ones. We’ll see what happens.

The first single + video for the song The Lost River Band will be released in very soon.

And about the cover: It’s an old painting by Luis Ricardo Falero called “The Departure of the Witches” made in 1878, that we stumbled over a year ago, and it just screamed our name!

It's amazing what you get to do the crisis, instead of mounting a great band, as these two boys just reinvent the musical duo, as they did some years our dynamic duo.
Joking aside, this young German training debut with the self-titled album, contributing to the world of metal, a great deal of speed conjoined with an epic feel and Heavy Metal, but something is not quite like the voice a lot and I think considerablente can improve, maybe they find it very good to the result, but I think it lacks some melody and strength, otherwise, perfect.
We also noticed that a job has been completely self-funded
