Universal Music in Japan announced March 27, it will release a special 2014 Japan Tour Edition of Paul McCartney's “NEW” album on May 7.
The two-disc set will contain a CD and DVD. The CD will feature a 15-track Japanese version of the disc with the Japan-only track, “Struggle.” As was the case with the original release, the hidden track “Scared” isn't listed. More»

Good solid melodic hard rock CD. I prefer the 'Taste the difference' CD, but this is still a fine example of melodic hard rock. The first album before this is pretty bad, and the last album released in 1996 I think is a pretty good slab of heavy rock - but none as good as 'Taste the difference'.

I, too, like "Still Hungry" even better than it's 23-year old predecessor. It sounds much more raw and less '80s', but the band has stayed faithful in preserving the original spirit of the sound (only "The Price" fell short of the spirit and quality of the original). The album's shortcomings are inconsequential, though, because "Still Hungry" successfully brings back some great memories with a new, ragged sound! Buy it now!

Power metallers Black Abyss have recently announced that they will release their new album Possessed on November 2nd via Apostasy Records. The tracklist and cover art created by Thomas Ewerhard can be seen below. The band's latest album had been 2004's Angels Wear Black.
The album was produced by Roger Grüninger at Studio 141 (End Of Green, Undertow) and refined by Achim Köhler (Brainstorm, HammerFall, Rage). The artwork for the release was handled by Thomas Ewerhard (Avantasia, Edguy,Masterplan).
Sonic Prophecy was formed officially in 2008. They wanted to capture the excitement and sound of such bands as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Helloween, Hammerfall, and Kamelot while melding other musical styles, arriving at a sound all their own. More»
