"LOVE” is a beautiful collection of melodic, soulful love songs selected from my first 4 solo CDs. It also includes 3 new tracks and a special bonus track especially written and recorded for Japan. The concept of the CD is to feature some of my favorite singers, songwriters and musicians I have had the honor of working with over the years, capture a bit of my solo history that features them, and release a few new songs to keep it fresh.

Hailing from New York’s Capital District, this five-piece groundbreaking progressive metal project has a variety of experiences and musical influences which culminate in an innovative sound and texture. Every NWS live show is a breathtaking experience for the senses. Their presence is dynamic; each member of the crowd taken on a journey in which they are part of the experience, and not just a member of the audience.

Last week this Melbourne venue-like-no-other played host to Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson launching Wreck and Ruin, the couple's newest collaborative CD which will be available in September (although can be purchased online at Sanity.com) Their follow up to 2008's Rattlin' Bones, Wreck and Ruin has every good thing about its platinum record breaking predecessor going for it. Between their natural and occasionally hilarious 'married banter' routine, the two performed a collection of world class songs penned during a retreat in a cabin on the Central coast. They opened opened with My Name is Adam, accompanying themselves on electric banjo (which they each made a point of learning for this CD ) and acoustic guitar.

Rheia is the creation of Swiss song-writing sound engineer and keyboardist Pascale Peng. Over the course of a couple of years she gradually recorded these songs with a cast of carefully chosen musicians. The band name she has chosen is taken from the Greek goddess Rheia (or Rhea), the daughter of the Earth, who gave birth to the Greek Pantheon of gods, including the rulers of Heaven and Hell, Zeus and Hades. However, this is not an concept album, and the lyrics are about a wide variety of topics. The closest I can get to describing her totally unique but hugely appealing music is try imagining a touch of Within Temptation symphonic metal being propelled along by The Cars' driving rhythms, then add OMD's synths and pop sensibilities, and finally top with Nena on vocals to

HeptaH is a Progressive Metal band from Brazil.
The Debut Album "Master Of Delusion" has been released ! Itcomes with an overdose of head-banging riffs, involving melodies and lyrical context.
Though organized in the early Eighties, California's Axehammer has had a spotty recording history. There first full-length album, Windrider, only arrived in 2005. Seven years later, they deliver Marching On, perhaps a title that reflects their perseverance.
Axehammer delivers basically no frills, straight up, American heavy and power metal. They've got a new lead singer in Kleber Mandrake, who sounds like a stranger mixture of Geddy Lee and young Halford. He can sing, scream, and hit those high notes with ease. However, sometimes his sustained higher notes can sound like a vibrato warble.
