Preachers, the sophomore release from Austin's My Jerusalem has the rather dark and sinister theme going on in the background. Founder and singer Jeff Klein (ex-Gutter Twins, The Twilight Singers) describes it as the Post-Modern Southern Gothic Soul album surrounded by beautiful, comforting, darkness. It's real, not selfish, according to the mad hatter and Klein's baritone vocals are ever so moody and emotionally black.

he foundations of Fortaleza (Castle) were set down in 2004, and since then have safely stashed 3 terrific albums in their vaults. A slight change in style has been heralded the addition of Oculta to their name, also the title of this brand new album, as they move away from their light gothic rock/metal style to a more epic up-tempo symphonic sound that knocks on the gatehouse of power metal without pushing the door down as they retain their lightness of touch and distinctive Latin flavour. Part of this is down to new keys man Pablo who adds orchestral sounds into the mix as well as some decorative Moog machicolations, and he joined by their gorgeous new singer Ariana, who has a voice that's not too dissimilar to Sy Armonight.

Once the lads from Sheffield finished their strong set, Metallica took the stage to the familiar strains of their longtime Ennio Morricone-penned opener, "The Ecstasy of Gold," and immediately brought their fans way back – as far back as possible – to the first song the band ever recorded, "Hit the Lights." They wasted no time further laying on the thrash with "Master of Puppets" and "The Four Horsemen." The much-hyped Ride the Lightning section arrived a few songs later, with the band performing the album in reverse, probably an easy decision for a record that ends with a long and winding instrumental ("The Call of Ktulu") and begins with as fast, heavy and precise a track as the band has ever written ("Fight Fire With Fire"). The song "Escape" received its world premiere, a somewhat shocking feat for a 28-year-old song, but hearing it live served as a sufficient reminder as to why it had been cast aside for so long. There's much to like about this little band from the boondocks of Idyllwild, California. Throw The Goat offers a blend of punk, stoner, and heavy rock in a rather intriguing package with Black Mountain. It's like a mash up of Ramones, Motorhead, and maybe some Kyuss. But, ultimately, I think Throw The Goat simply wants to be a good rock band. Their take may be on the heavy, sometimes stoner, side, but they delivers some deep rockin' grooves. You get this at the start with Southeast Bound, but also later on Predictable, I

Since forming in October of 2006, Angelical Tears has stood as a unique musical voice in the Oklahoma music scene. The band's heavy but melodic sound is the result of a variety of musical influences such as Goth, Classical, Metal, and Electronica. These elements all combine to create a powerful metal sound with strong symphonic Goth elements.

The combination of the ethereal vocals of Julia Flansburg, heavy guitars of Steven Bittle, pounding bass of Glenn Flansburg, and thundering drums of JC give Angelical Tears a style and sound that sets them apart from their peers in the Oklahoma music scene.

Now I shall give me at, to review one Unsigned bands. One of thousands who are in our country. They like: play, write songs and perform just for fun. Enough is surely the dream to break through at all. But that's not the main thing, the important thing is to have fun. One can honestly did not examine these bands, just like the band that has unlimited studio time and with a budget that is 6 or 7-digit. How will my review.  This band, from Sundsvall / Bispgården I came by chance into contact with and I can say that I do not regret. Musically, it sounds very much the late 70's, up until the mid 80s.

Starbolt 9 is melodious space rock, conceived by stellar frontman Christian Dryden. The band’s fusion of classic glam rock, post punk and modern Brit-pop has raised more than a few eyebrows, earning them comparisons to legends such as David Bowie, Echo and The Bunnymen and The Verve, and the praise of Sex Pistols founder, Glen Matlock. Dryden’s dark, ultra-expressive vocals and new romantic lyrical musings are complimented by the
