"Saiko" is the sixth full-length studio album by Quidam. It contains that unique kind of music which takes time to make its listeners fall in love with each and every sound. More than ever before, the musicians put strong emphasis on creating specific atmosphere on their latest release. The lack of elaborate compositions and minimalistic approach only intensifies the meaning of each sound.

Difficult to understand what these five guys from Salzburg or anything before. Are you planning to invent a kind of intergalactic spaceship constructed from parts of their beloved vintage instruments? What fuel do they use? Worn Underwear? Can it work?Maybe they do not need a spaceship to reach the cosmos? Where possible, they spent their last summer holiday there already. Who knows? Your music on, it seems, as if they were returned to Earth to take on new adventures to combine the cosmic energies and to ground them.
They invite us to become a part of their world by attending their concerts and listen to their records. "The Mustache Mozart affair," her latest album, a log book, written from the depths of her soul. It affects us deeply in our hearts and in the face. Honestly, profoundly emotional, straight ahead. You have it, the leaden weight of Led Zeppelin, the spherical range of Pink Floyd and the significance of Bob Dylan, through all this, combined with electronic parts and excessive synth sounds, they are what they are given: a modern alternative rock band knows it, is to remember the past, to show her the proper respect and honor them. You could always recognize something special to their live performance, a unique energy between the band and the audience, which is constantly increasing and at the end of each concert at Jam escapades discharges. It is their stated ambition, passion and dedication to music, share it with all the people out there.
This certainly was well acquainted with "Portugal The Man" into existence, which they shared after a show, just took along on their subsequent tour of Europe, 2008. The following year she toured with bands such as The Builders And The Butchers, Eagle Seagull, Hello Electric, and played support shows for Thin Lizzy, Monster Magnet, International Noise Conspiracy, Therapy?, Oceansize, The Ravonettes, Kashmir and many more.

Five friends from Wiltshire, David John Harman, Trevor Leonard Ward-Davies, John Dymond, Michael Wilson and Ian Frederick Stephen Amey, formed a group in 1961, originally called Dave Dee and the Bostons.[2] They soon gave up their jobs (e.g. Dave Dee was a policeman) to make their living from music. Apart from performing in the UK, they also occasionally played in Hamburg (Star-Club, Top Ten Club) and in Cologne (Storyville).

Vocalist Dee, the ex-policeman, was at the scene of the automobile accident that took the life of the American rock and roller Eddie Cochran and injured Gene Vincent in April 1960. Dee had taken Cochran's guitar from the accident and held it until it could be returned to his family.[2]

In summer 1964, the British songwriters Ken Howard and Alan Blaikley became interested in recording them. The band was set up in the studio to make recordings with Joe Meek. These recording sessions failed to get off the ground as an interview with Dee stated that Meek "had very strange recording techniques. He wanted us to play the song at half speed and then he would speed it up and put all these little tricks on it. We said we couldn't do it that way. He exploded, threw coffee all over the studio and stormed up to his room. His assistant [Patrick Pink] came in and said, 'Mr Meek will not be doing any more recording today.' That was it. We lugged all our gear out and went back home".[4] While these recording sessions proved unsuccessful they eventually gained a recording contractwith Fontana Records.

Album will be released in the first quarter of 2012 so be patient and stay tuned for sneak peaks of what to come!

Cool news, as I've been pretty anxious to hear their next record ever since being won over at ProgPower USA in 2009 by them (after not caring for them previously..the Opera-style of vocals mainly, which I've come to like), and then their record released around that time Sing-Along Songs for the Damned & Delirious finishing in my top 30 albums for '09.

This band are crazy and fun in all the best ways. Like Unexpect or Akphaezya but maybe a bit toned-down. More emphasis on cello and concsise guitar-riffs.

I found out this upcoming record was not coming until 2012 earlier this year, although it was funny enough how announced on April 1st they were breaking up. Thankfully, that was just something to find funny (unlike the other bands who've broken up this year).

The gentlemen are among the most industrious of HATESEEDrepresentatives of their trade in the Polish homeland. The band has decided not only various band competitions successfully, but also helda tribute concert for their hero Ronnie James Dio, which is to benefit ina charitable purpose. That such actions but still need to be a sign ofmusical genius, now reveals itself in the band debut "Hate ComesCrawling". Reinforced by some members of the Polish metal legendsTURBO, the band has here a rather lengthy interpretation of the classicheavy metal record, which mobilizes though here and there a fewdecent tunes, but overall far too spectacular comes along, as that the Poles from their could free underground existence - at least not ifquality is still the most important aspect for a debut output.

What it lacks HATESEED superficially, are moving and gripping

suspense harmonies. But the vocal capacity of ?ukasz Szostak is average and may the weary arrangements in numbers like 'TheHorizon' and 'The Curse' is not decisive shake. Furthermore, the bandloses its rather long compositions are, in many trivial passages, even by the occasional change of pace not be exciting. Songs like 'Exile', 'One Thousand Deaths "and" Fire in the Sky' can be called up on their exciting titles have absolutely no music but the stuff HATESEED tomove into the ranks of besserklassigen bands.

Thus at the end seems true, that the Eastern European neighboringnation knows how to put the field but in the progressive and extremeaccents, in classic playground but still has catching up to do. "HateComes Crawling" is a nice album, but no record you would have heard.

CRYSTAL VIPER is a Female Fronted Traditional Heavy Metal act from Poland, founded in 2003.  The band has already released 2 full length studio albums and several single and EP releases. “Crimen Excepta”, is the bands  3rd album – a concept about holy inquisition and black magic.

The music is heavy and dark with roots in the old school heavy metal sound. Mercyful Fate/King Diamond seem to be the main influence for Crystal Viper, while there are also references to bands like Warlock, Running Wild and other epic stuff. The riffs and guitar solos on “Crimen Excepta” are exceptional and imaginative while Marta Gabriel’s voice is simply amazing and brings heavily in mind the voice of Leather Leone of Chastain.

The album also features some special gifts. A version of the classic Vader song “Tyrani Piekiel” (“Tyrants

Of Hell”) – which will be available as the bonus track on the limited edition of the new album where you can hear the voice of VADER mainman Piotr “Peter” Wiwczarek in a duet with Marta.

Want more gifts? Vinyl fans will receive a cover of the classic Demon song “Night Of The Demon”. And last  – all the three versions of the album (CD, vinyl and digital download) will include one more

special bonus track: “Ghosts Of Sherwood”, a theme song CRYSTAL VIPER lately recorded for the forthcoming 3D cinema horror movie “Robin Hood: Ghosts Of Sherwood”.

The album’s artwork was painted again by Chris Moyen (known from cooperation with acts such as Slayer, Trivium, Beherit or Blasphemy).

“I won’t stop, I’ll push through, in spite of you.” - John Allen

“It’s a long way to the top if you want to Rock and Roll” – Bon Scott

Charm City Devils (CCD) new albumSINS is 11 tracks of instantly catchy rock with a modern production that elevates the material while retaining the rawness of the guitars and vocals.

The writers of RUFKM have been rocking out to an advance streaming version of the album for a couple weeks now (courtesy of Amanda at ABC-PR) and are finally getting around to writing a review.

Perhaps you’ve heard of CCD.  The Baltimore based band had some nice exposure a few years ago when they were signed to Nikki Sixx’s Eleven Seven records, toured with Motley on Crue Fest in 2009, and named Best New Rock Band by iTunes that same year.  Their debut album was a straight up shot of classic rock and while frontman John Allen was a dead ringer for John Rzeznik, his vocals sounded like dead singer Bon Scott of AC/DC.  RUFKM subjected CCD to our famous “13 Stupid Questions”

Fast Forward to 2012.  While CCD is no longer on Eleven Seven records–presumably after Nikki realized John Allen wasn’t actually John Rzeznik — their album SINS drops tomorrow hot on the heels of their popular “Man of Constant Sorrow” cover.  CCD puts a unique rock twist on the folk song from the Coen Brother’s “O Brother Where Art Thou?” movie.  It has had solid airplay and an unofficial “lyrics video” of the track has had over 150,000 views on YouTube since it was posted in January.  The official and unofficial videos are posted below.  You’ll have to pick which one you like better.  One features Nosferatu and a bunch of words, the other has a hot blonde that knows how to work a shovel and scenes of forest joggers.  Full album review after the break.
