The new MORSE/PORTNOY/GEORGE album - featuring Neal Morse (ex-SPOCK'S BEARD), Mike Portnoy (ADRENALINE MOB, ex-DREAM THEATER) and Randy George - is set for a May 22nd release via Radiant Records.
While there are a lot of modern sleaze-metal bands evolving out of Sweden, quite a few of them only manage to release a couple of demos before fading away into obscurity after a couple of years. Pompei Nights obviously didn't want to go down that path, and after only two years of existence they release their full-length debut Rather Die Than Livin' In Boundaries through Street Symphonies Records.
Triaxis release their second album 'Rage & Retribution' on 8th October and have revealed the stunning front cover artwork by Colin Marks of Rain Song Design (Exodus, Sylosis, Jeff Loomis). They also make available a free mp3 download of the song 'Under Blood Red Skies' from the album.
In the live arena the band have been receiving excellent praise for their recent performances at SOS Festival (Manchester) and Bloodstock Open Air last weekend where an acoustic set showcased Krissie Kirby's beautiful vocals and breathed a different life into songs old and new.

When not doing concerts, recordings or compose music, I teach musical interplay and improvisation at various schools in Sweden. I’m also a proud receiver of the “Jazz in Sweden” award 2010. Avril Ramona Lavigne (pronunciation: /?ævr?l l??vi?n/; av-rill?-veen; born 27 September 1984) is a Canadian singer-songwriter. By the age of 15, she had appeared on stage with Shania Twain; by 16, she had signed a two-album recording contract with Arista Records worth more than $2 million. In 2002, when she was 17 years old, Lavigne broke onto the music scene with her debut album Let Go.
Maplerun is a band that has made all the right choices in their musical career so far. They formed in 2007 and worked on releasing their first album called “House on Fire”. Then when the opportunity presented itself they grabbed it by the hair. They had the chance and the privilege to tour Europe with the great Shadow Gallery. After the tour they released a DVD and then started working on their second album. Having completed their national service, they are back to devote themselves to the band.
The first news for the album is in the same good direction. Ted Jensen was behind the mastering (Metallica, Linkin Park) who has been busy this year in Greece also working for September Code’s “Remembering Mirrors”. The really nice cover art was crerated by Travis Smith who has also made covers for bands like Opeth and Nevermore.
