An Art Rock band with an epic, fictional concept that serves as the backdrop to their musical landscape.

SIOS looks to break barriers and leave their mark in and beyond the music world. The band is made up of four self-taught individuals who go above and beyond to create an eclectic world; not only through their music, but also through the fictional concept they have created to serve as the backdrop to their sound. During an uncertain period in his life, lead guitarist Christian “Enigma” Cruz decided to reach out to former guitar student and band mate Phillip “Dice” Defreitas, to begin a new band with the goal of reaching millions of people and sharing their unique ideas with the world. Through this common idea, rhythm guitarist and former band mate April “Ape”

Tacere is quite new female fronted symphonic  metal from Finland. The very distinguished on the band is the singer singing style. This is sounds like symphonic metal with Gwen Stefani /No Doubt in front of the microphone. Putting all best into their second album, At World’s End, Tacere bringing new bloods into the female fronted band galore.

Brand new album from Kory Clarke and Warrior Soul - SMF also features very special guest guitar players - John Ricco (former Warrior Soul guitarist) and Mark Gemini Thwaite (The Mission/Mob Research/Peter Murphy - Bahaus). Warrior Soul released a string of classic political rock n’ roll albums starting with Last Decade Dead Century (’90), Drugs, God and the New Republic (‘91), Salutations from the Ghetto Nation (’92) and Chill Pill (’93).

After forming the Space Age Playboys and releasing two solo albums Clarke has remained as venomous, aggressive and politically motivated as ever on Destroy The War Machine (’09) and now this new offering ‘Stiff Middle Finger’ KC – “We are really looking forward to seeing everyone on this tour. This is going to rock like crazy with new blood and fists pumping against corporate tyranny, bullshit wars, and lying dead religions. Our power will once again be felt and our rumble heard across the land!”

I am a huge fan of 60?s and 70?s progressive rock and I also have a special place in my heart for experimental folk. Something about these styles of music captures my imagination and interest. Perhaps it’s the sense of total and utter creative freedom that these artists seem to exude. Perhaps it’s the wealth of instruments and tones used. In the end, however, it doesn’t really matter as I can just sit back and truly enjoy this music.

Every country in Europe’s extreme metal field has artists that go astray from their black and death metal histories. Odd-ball musicians, such as Norway’s Ulver, see beyond genre tags, and create sonic art forms of pure, honest expression. Tiamat certainly fits into this “artist colony.” One never knows what sounds may emanate from your player when throwing on the newest Tiamat recording. Death, doom, symphonic, Goth, blues, psychedelics; Tiamat has done them all. What new forms lurk ahead with “The Scarred People”?

Clearly, Orange County's Sixstep marches to their own beat, wherever that beat may come from. They call their sound "comprehensive rock," whatever the what for that means. House of Cards, their second album I think (much of their information is sketchy and obtuse), rolls together elements of classic rock with portions of ska, reggae, jazz, and blues in what can only be considered eclectic.

House of Cards is an odd intersection between melodic rock, progressive rock and art rock, with an equally odd concept. It's something do with a satirical look at different aspects of the modern life. This is then also played out among two contrasting radio DJs, one an obnoxious commercialist, the other a fateful idealist. Are you getting all this? Maybe you should take notes.
