Natural Instinct? — first full-length album by the French band, performing moderate power metal c elements of progressive and symphonic metal. The style of strikingly similar to Nightwish and Vision Of Atlantis. If a Vision Of Atlantis can say that this is just a faint companion of the Finnish giant, the Asylum Pyre - it is something special and unique in its genre.
This album is quite diverse. Guitars, drums, keyboards, vocals, melodies and riffs all clearly structured and well arranged. Party button especially well written and executed. Nightwish fans may notice a tendency towards Angels Fall First album in some places. Progressive elements, like on creativity Ayreon, create a very good atmosphere and present surprises from song to song. Frontvumen Carole Alcantara brilliantly fulfills its role. Her voice is similar to the classic early recordings Tarja Turunen and Nicole Bogner, but has a light and flexible features. Johann Cadot scored vocal variety - from quiet and low in a dramatic singing. In general, the pleasant voices of the two singers formed an excellent vocal blend.
