Here we have the rocking 1978’s album “First Glance” from APRIL WINE, the Canadians seventh studio LP where they started to sound more melodic mainstream and became world-wide known – April Wine’s first gold record outside Canada.
The success of the single “Roller”(a top 40 hit in the States) led to bands such as Rush, Journey, and Styx requesting for April Wine to open their shows in the United States. This album kills with a succession of arena rockers, riff-driven and hot blooded melodies.
As requested, this is the out of print / not easy to find Japanese pressing on high quality SHM-CD, fully remastered, on a mini LP format faithfully replicating its US first pressing LP design / cover art (different from the original Canadian release).
