Strap in for the ride of a lifetime because AMERICAN JETSET is about to take you on a wild trip to the neon-soaked streets of ’80s Hollywood with their latest album titled “1987“. This album isn’t just a blast from the past, it’s a full-throttle love letter to the glory days of rock and roll.
Drawing inspiration from Sunset Strip–era legends like Poison, Warrant, and Cheap Trick, ”1987” is a tribute to the glory days of excess and anthems. From the fist-pumping title track “1987” to the sunburned swagger of “Blackout Summer Nights” this album is the soundtrack to your wildest nights and your craziest dreams.
So dust off your leather jacket, lace up your Chucks, and get ready to rock out like it’s 1987 all over again.
After their brilliant debut ‘Live, Love, Die On Main’ and gigs with the likes of Tom Keifer of Cinderella, Jack Russell’s Great White, LA Guns, Slaughter, etc, AMERICAN JETSET released their first full album in 2020 titled “Saloon Rock Whiskey Pop”, celebrated by all ’80s rock aficionados and critics.
“1987”, as a whole, is much more melodic than the previous efforts – if we were in 1987, we’ll call these songs ‘radio friendly’.
A fun record from start to finish. Highly Recommended
