"Alpha Mountain" is the first album of the eponymous group founded by Steph Honde (Café Bertrand, Hollywood Monsters, Scream Taker...). The guitarist-singer is here surrounded by singer Butcho Vukovic (Watcha, Last Temptation), drummer Éric Lebailly (Adagio, Louis Bertignac) and bassists Pascal Baron (Sloane Square Band) and Fred Schneider (Lag I Run, Adrian Byron Burns) .
Suffice to say that Alpha Mountain looks like a French super-group whose music is superbly highlighted by the cover produced by Tristan Greatrex (UFO, MSG, Lionheart). "Alpha Mountain" distills a modern rock where the compositions of Honde are supported by the texts of Vukovic. Between power rock and hard rock sprinkled with elements of progressive rock, the album diffuses energy and finesse in varied atmospheres where the voices of Vukovic and Honde intertwine, recalling the great duets of Deep Purple Mark III (and IV) or from the Hughes Turner Project.
