American classic rock / classic hard rock hope ACE MONROE are back with a new full album “Wild Card“, and yeah, good ole rock n’ roll isn’t dead in the U.S.

Formed by young dudes in their twenties, ACE MONROE already surprised with their previous releases, and let me tell you these guys aren’t a promise anymore: they are here to rock. Hard.

To understand the group’s sound, you’d have to know who inspired them. From a songwriting standpoint, vocalist Robbie Dylan and lead guitarist Josh Alfano learned a lot from Aerosmith and The Rolling Stones, who they say span so many different styles and melodies all while maintaining their own unique identity. Other musicians and bands mentioned include greats such as Tom Scholz of Boston, Paul McCartney and of course, Led Zeppelin.
Along these influences, “Wild Card” brings to mind, for the most part, the organic sound of Tesla mixed with ’70s Aerosmith, that type of pure American feel, with melodic classy riffs and that vocals plenty of swagger. Expect no facades, no mysticism, no pretenses. Expect only one thing with Ace Monroe — sleek, unapologetic, hard-driving music that not only rocks, but rolls.
ACE MONROE will hit the road this summer with ‘The Wild Card Tour’, some dates with Rival Sons, don’t miss them, they rock!

I’d suggest you that start listen to this album with with the hard rocker “Try”… what a killer tune. Or the broken “Talk”, a truly impressive hard rocker. Not to say the other tracks aren’t good – all are groovy, foot tappin’, including a couple a great slow bluesy numbers.
This new album showcases the band’s unlimited potential of becoming one of the most acclaimed classic rock bands not only in the U.S., but world-wide.
