Family Jewels is a DVD compilation of the rock band AC / DC. Two of the three Family Jewels CDs were released on March 28, 2005. The first is dedicated to the Bon Scott era, from the band's first television appearance in 1975 to a performance filmed two days before Scott's death in 1980.
The second contains material from the era of Brian Johnson, these are video clips and live performances from 1980 to 1991 inclusive. On November 10, 2009, the third disc was released as part of the Backtracks collection. Its materials begin in 1993 with the song "Big Gun" and end in 2009 with clips of the AC / DC studio album Black Ice. In addition, the third disc includes alternate versions of some pre-1993 videos with both Brian Johnson and Bon Scott.
