Drawing influences from 70s bands such as Humble Pie, Cheap Trick, Grand Funk Railroad, Free, early Aerosmith and Bon Scott-era AC/DC, Carousel Vertigo will perhaps be best known to UK audiences from their support slots on two Status Quo tours
– the ‘Pictures Exposed’ trek in 2009-2010 and the ‘Quid Pro Quo’ jaunt in 2012. Indeed, one of the tracks on the album, ’3rd Degree’ was co-written by Quo bassist John ‘Rhino’ Edwards.
