LENNY KRAVITZ is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his fourth studio album ‘Circus’ with a deluxe edition of the landmark record. Set for release on September 19, 2025, the expanded edition features 13 previously unavailable bonus tracks, from rare acoustic recordings to sought-after studio material.

Among the new highlights on the ”Circus [30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition]” track list are an acoustic version of the title track “Circus” and live recordings of Kravitz classics like “Are You Gonna Go My Way,” “Let Love Rule,” and “Always on the Run.”
The collection also includes a much sought after three studio bonus tracks—”Another Life,” “Confused,” and “Is It Me, Is It You?”—which were previously only available on a limited edition 10-inch EP.
After recording with Slash (his old high school classmate, Mick Jagger and David Bowie, and co-wrote a tune with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry for Aerosmith’s Get A Grip album, Kravitz recorded “Circus” in 1995, again a mix of vintage ’70s rock n’ roll, funky fuzzy guitars, soulful rhythms, and psychedelic melodies into sleek, sinewy modern rock.
While it was a hard time for this type of sound, the singles “Rock and Roll Is Dead”, “Tunnel Vision” and “Can’t Get You Off My Mind” worked pretty well and became Kravitz’ classics.

Originally released on September 12, 1995, Circus marked a career milestone for Kravitz, becoming his first Top 10 album in the United States when it peaked at number 10 on the Billboard 200. Driven by singles “Rock and Roll Is Dead,” and “Can’t Get You Off My Mind,” the album eventually earned Gold certification from the RIAA.

Circus blended otherworldly funk, power-rock arrangements, and spiritual soul music steeped in psychedelia, creating what Kravitz described as music influenced by his expanding life experiences during that period.
He wrote, produced and performed most of the instruments heard on the 11-track collection, recording the album in a variety of locations including the Bahamas, France and Hoboken, New Jersey.
We still spin ‘Circus’ from time to time, and the bonus tracks on this deluxe are really good – a nice addition to the album.
Highly Recommended
