Melissa Bonny is by no means a blank slate in the scene: as the voice of Ad Infinitum, and The Dark Side of the Moon, she has made a name for herself internationally. Now the musician is going her own way – and will release her first solo album on January 23, 2026, just in time for her birthday: Cherry Red Apocalypse.
The album campaign kicked off on August 14 with the first single "I'm a Monster". Musically, a mixture of metal and pop-rock awaits us on Cherry Red Apocalypse, spread over 13 tracks (including an interlude). Three more singles including music videos are planned in advance. What makes this project special: Melissa releases the album independently, without a label or big PR machinery. Everything depends on the direct support of your community – and it has been showing enthusiasm so far.
