The German label Pride & Joy Music has received a new addition:The Swedish classic rock band Civil Daze signs with the well-known Label and releases its debut album „Once In A Blue Moon“ on October 24, 2025
Civil Daze hails from Uppland's Vasby, north of Stockholm, a place long considered a musical hotbed, giving birth to bands like Europe, Candlemass, H.E.A.T. or Universe III. The band started as a solo project by Mikael Danielsson. He was writing songs, but he lacked the voice to carry them. Years passed until he found the perfect singer in Helena Sommerdal. Her voice gave the plays the depth, expressiveness, and emotional power that he was striving for. Together, they brought together a group of musician friends with whom they had shared the stage countless times, and thus was born Civil Daze.
