British Heavy Metal band Chaos Asylum release their debut Album 'Into the Black'. Featuring guitarist Guy Laverick & Drummer Phil Brewis, 2 existing members of NWOBHM giants Blitzkrieg.
Based in the North East of England, Chaos Asylum was originally formed as a studio project by vocalist Martin Mcmanus & guitarist Guy Laverick. A self-titled debut EP was released at the end of 2009. Then to start playing the material live they recruited guitarist Colin Dixon, bassist Craig Stephenson & drummer Phil Brewis. Chaos Asylum have since gone on to play at the 'Bloodstock' Festival UK 2010, various support slots throughout the UK & more recently the 'Wizzfest' 2012 Festival in Belgium gaining them a strong reputation as a live band.
