German metal masters HELLOWEEN continue the reissue of their back catalog on CD with fresh remasters and bonus tracks. ”Master of the Rings (Remastered 2024)” is the band’s 6th studio album, their first to feature new lead vocalist Andi Deris, formerly with hard rockers Pink Cream 69.
Only a band like Helloween could emerge from an influential lead singer’s departure and an original drummer’s tragic suicide with an optimistic outlook kept in tact. ”Master of the Rings”, the first album to feature new vocalist Andi Deris and future Masterplan drummer Uli Kusch, it is often considered the band’s major comeback.
Not only did this release see the band return to more grounded, heavier territory, it also gave the band new life and signalled the beginning of a whole new era of Helloween.
