Two-time Grammy award-winning rock band THE SMASHING PUMPKINS have announced only three days ago that their new album ”Aghori Mhori Mei”, will be out August 2. The announcement comes amidst the band’s highly-successful international tour, which just wrapped its 20+ date European leg and will begin its North American run of shows later this month.
The Smashing Pumpkins recorded ”Aghori Mhori Mei” amid their packed touring schedule over the past few years. ”We just want to put the album out,” Corgan said. So no previous promotion, no press release, and an intriguing album title and cover art. And how the Pumpkins’ thirteenth album to date, ”Aghori Mhori Mei” sounds?.
Well, if you like the earlier and most successful era of the band, you’ll love this. And general / casual listeners need to know this is a guitar-driven album, dynamic. Of course this is alternative rock, but fortunately not experimental – just uptempo rocking songs.
