We have been featuring Danes melodic hard rockers PUSH 2024 album reissues, and alongside these the band is presenting a previously unreleased live recording titled “Balls Out in Manchester: Live in the UK 2000“.
The recording captures Push touring UK in 2000’s presenting their third CD ‘On the Run’, and the line up is the same that did the studio record.

This is a true live album, no overdubs, straight from the amps, raw hard n’ heavy. Push was much more heavier, grooving on stage, driven by sharp guitars and a thunderous rhythm section. Martie Peters vocals are melodic and perfect pitch as usual, and he’s a fine entertainer as well as interacts with the audience with ease.

Push performs here many songs from the at the time last album ‘On the Run’, and a few from the previous.
As said “Balls Out in Manchester: Live in the UK 2000” is how real live albums should be – the entire show, not edited or tweaked later into the studio. On the fist two tracks Martie’s voice is too much upfront in the mix, but since there the full band sounds very well: an oiled rocking machine.
