Powerhouse vocalist Sass Jordan’s breakthrough album ”Racine” was released in 1992 and yielded the Canadian hit singles “Make You a Believer,” “I Want to Believe” – both ranked on Billboard magazine’s Mainstream Rock chart. In 1994, Jordan released ”Rats”, which yielded her first song on the Billboard Hot 100 with the single “Sun’s Gonna Rise,” and also featured “High Road Easy.” On this album Sass met Brian Tichy (session drums) both years later worked on the band S.U.N.
SASS JORDAN is now releasing ”Live in New York Ninety-Four”. The show was recorded at the South Street Seaport in NYC during the 1994 ”Rats” tour, but never released until now. The album features killer versions of Jordan classics like “Make You a Believer,” “High Road Easy” and “You Don’t Have to Remind Me”.

Sass’ voice is just mesmerizing, with a bluesy, classic rock edge that kills. She has cited Rod Stewart, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, David Bowie, and even Anthrax among her musical influences – the woman is rocker at heart.
The sound quality of ”Live in New York Ninety-Four” is perfect – just 40 minutes of first class rock n’ roll, commanded by one of the greatest female rock voices from the last 30+ years.
