Though released using the same title, there is a big difference between the CD version and the DVD version of Budapest Live. The source for the DVD was recorded at Budapest Sporthalle April 6th & 7th 1983 while the CD is compiled by edited versions and despite the title also featured recordings from the Dominion Theatre in London.
Two songs from the original CD release are not included on the DVD as no video recordings of the songs was available. Of the rest the playing order is different and all versions on the DVD are extended compared to the CD.
On the Japan CD remaster 3 bonus tracks were added. Those versions are not included on the DVD either.
