Not to be confused with the singer of the same name member of alternative rock acts, guitarist John Pettibone is the founder of his own group PETTIBONE, an Ohio hard rocking five-piece which are releasing their self-titled album “Pettibone”.

Pettibone can best be described as ’80s influenced US-styled hard rock with sleazy touches, a guitar driven combo plenty of melody and catchy anthemic songs. All band members have professional experience across the board, and include John Pettibone (guitars), Terry Adams (guitars), Brandon Smith (drums), Keith Gibson (bass), and Randy Amos (vocals).
Pettibone has played gigs with big names from the genre – as example, recently opened for Firehouse – so expect well crafted material on their debut album, self-released however very well produced.

We said all Pettibone are experienced musicians; singer Randy Amos (he was part of mid-80s glam rockers Axtion, among others) is in top form here delivering a raspy yet melodic performance.
Guitarist Marty Hayes is the founder of Marty Hayes & The Gypsy Kyngs, whom has toured with Cinderella’s Tom Keifer Band, L.A. Guns and Faster Pussycat. John Pettibone has recorded as session musician on many albums, wrote songs for others, and owns a recording studio.

“Pettibone” rocks without tricks: this is American rock n’ roll with that classic twin guitar attack, melody, a clean rhythm section and good, powerful vocals.
A solid, entertaining 10-tracker with an ’80s feel and a strong updated sound.
