In 1971, the talented keyboardist Graham Field left the Rare Bird band and decided to form his own band. Inviting session multi-instrumentalist Barry and drummer McAlloch (who left the ranks of King Crimson) he formed a powerful trio, giving it a name derived from his last name.

The trio recorded the only album, which is quite typical for that time, but at the same time has some peculiarity. Critics write that the band was not too sophisticated, playing quite simply, in the style of the early Rare Birds.
